Who We Are
Advantage Sales was founded in 1998 by Steven Cooper, who brought 19 years of experience working in the discount sales industry to this new company. But the roots of Advantage Sales go back much further. In 1960, Steven’s grandfather opened a family-run wholesale and retail outlet named Marlin Sales, one of the largest and best known on the east coast. Over the next 40 years Marlin Sales grew to serve businesses and retail customers in the community and beyond, but never lost the focus on bringing value and caring service to customers. Steve represents the third generation of this family business, and carries the torch lit by Marlin Sales into the future through Advantage Sales. After starting the new business, Steve has continued the commitment of delivering quality and value to customers through Advantage Sales.
